I have, so far, been enjoying this class very much. I am slightly nervous about a few things but
am being optimistic and hoping that my nervousness is uncalled for. My favorite
thing so far has been to listen to the “Hero”. I really enjoyed his story and
what he has done with his life. I think the most impressive thing about his
life is that he has kept everything into perspective. You could tell that he
loved his family very much and that he loved his job, but knew when he needed
to turn off the lights from his job for the night and be with his family. I
really hope that I will be able to do this since I want to be eventually
working from home. This class holds a lot of interest in me. I really feel as though
I will enjoy learning the different lessons throughout the semester. I am nervous
and excited for the $100 challenge. It will really take me out of my comfort
zone, however I know it will be a good thing since I want to earn money for
myself through my business. This project will really make me put myself out
there and to try something that I would never do on my own. I am also finding
that I am going to enjoy writing in a journal every week. I will be good for me
to be able to go back throughout the semester and throughout my career and
relearn things that I felt were important and one point of another. Something
that I have to share with you, which I really found useful, is from the blog “Work
Happy”. This insight isn’t something that I haven’t heard before but it really
stood out to me, “if the fish aren’t biting, move on.” No matter how much time
you have invested, no matter how badly you want your business venture to work,
if the market doesn’t want it, it will not ever make it.
